Winter at CADDO LAKE

Winter at Caddo Lake — home to the largest cypress grove in the United States, and possibly the world. While it’s most visited in the fall when the trees blaze with color, this collection captures something quieter and more intimate: a glimpse of the lake in its winter slumber. On a crisp winter morning, out on the still water, the towering cypress rise through the mist in hushed elegance — stripped back, reflective, and hauntingly beautiful. This series is my way of sharing that serene, almost secret season of Caddo, when the landscape feels entirely your own. And of course, I love trees.
